Reductoniscus tuberculatus

Reductoniscus tuberculatus “Ankylosaur” is a small soil-dwelling isopod with its body heavily ornamented with costae and tubercles. Pereonite 7 is strongly developed, arching backwards over its pleon like the clubbed tail of an “Ankylosaur”.

This species is recorded from Borneo and commonly misidentified as Tuberillo borneanus, or even misspelt as Turbellio borneonus.
